Getting a Bachelors Degree in one year might seem impossible, but it is not. There are some key factors that will help you complete your degree in one year. First you need to speak with the academics office and complete life experience forms; the college will require some evidence that you actually have life experience from work or your own life to get credits for certain courses. Myself, I have a computer networking background and was able to get credit for a networking course. That saved me $1200 due to the fact that I did not have to take the course. Another option is to CLEP the 100 level classes to save time as well, the tests are moderately difficult and does cost money, but nowhere near as much as an entire course. If you have a military background, transferring credits from your military life experience can be done through a program called Smart Transcript. If you also completed certifications, they sometimes can be used to gain college credits, but you need a solid foundation on the topic and need to prove that you use the subject daily.

The launch of StudentBookTrades.com initiated on February 1, 2008. I hope students see the advantages to searching for books by campus, not only in saving money on college textbooks, but an easier way to link with other students who have used textbooks. I use to list textbooks on the bulletin board at school which made it difficult to find other textbooks. All I did here was virtualize the bulletin board for each school. All the students have to do is use this website to search any college campus they choose. Please send your comments or questions this way to better support you. Thank You.
