Fees and Pricing
StudentBookTrades collects fees only when your textbook sells. When your textbook is sold, StudentBookTrades collects your sales price and shipping costs from the buyer and deducts a commission of 5 percent of the total price.
Pricing
You can sell textbooks that are in good condition to sell. Please do not sell textbooks that you would not otherwise use for college.
You may list textbooks at any price you feel is fair, regardless of the StudentBookTrades.com list price, so long as the price allows your textbook to be sold to other members. General Pricing Rule: By default, StudentBookTrades will find the value of your textbook when you add it to your textbook list. You can change the default price by updating your textbook information. The textbook price is the amount payable by a member, excluding shipping and handling, as it appears when you list a textbook. The total price is the amount payable by a member as well as all the terms of sale. This includes all of the following:
Payments and Receiving Money
StudentBookTrades collects payment from the buyer and holds the money in your StudentBookTradesa account. When you ship the textbook and the buyer receives the textbook, we send you the money. This is done to ensure both parties can get a refund and payment for the transaction. Payment options are through PayPal and receiving a Check ($5.00 check processing fee applies).
You may request a payment method when you sell textbooks. The default payment method will be PayPal. PayPal payment method: Your StudentBookTrades account balance will be sent to you via PayPal using your registered E-Mail address. Check payment method: Your StudentBookTrades account balance will be mailed to you via Check using your registered mailing address. |
